The project is a leading enterprise in the optical communication industry and one of China's top 500 enterprises. Weijie designed an information-based and intelligent material automation system for its world's largest cable manufacturing base in Jiashan. The system can handle 9 kinds of powder and granular raw materials and 2 kinds of paste materials. The materials can be supplied to the 180 production line material points of the production base. The system realizes the fully automated centralized feeding, storage, drying, metering and transportation of cable materials with an annual production capacity of 90 million core kilometers. The processing capacity is as high as 60 tons per hour, and the longest transportation distance is over 600 meters.
